Nypko participates in affiliate programs with online retailers, primarily the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. This disclosure explains what that means for you.
1. What is an affiliate link?
Some links on Nypko — particularly the “Buy on Amazon” links in the shopping list — are affiliate links. If you click such a link and then buy something on the destination site, the operator of Nypko may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
2. Amazon Associates
Nypko is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.co.jp, amazon.es, amazon.fr, amazon.com.br, and other Amazon storefronts. Amazon, the Amazon logo, Amazon Supply, and the AmazonSmile logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
3. How commissions work
As an Amazon Associate, Nypko earns from qualifying purchases. The program does not influence which products we recommend: we link to a color or tool because it is what we would actually use to make the pattern, not because of the commission.
4. Other affiliate programs
From time to time Nypko may participate in additional affiliate programs (for example, Hama or Artkal). Each program will be disclosed on the relevant page before any affiliate link is shown. The same principle applies: recommendations are independent of commission.
5. No price impact
Affiliate commissions do not change the price you pay. The retailer’s price is the same whether you arrive via an affiliate link or directly.
